Dug this linen dress out of the back of my closet and I'm so glad I did.
When I spot emerging trends, the first thing I do is visit my closet and see if I have any existing iterations of it. I know trends are fleeting, but sometimes I can't help but get sucked in (i.e the gaucho pants fiasco circa 2005) which is why I always try to work with what I have instead of buying what I probably wouldn't want in a few months. I found my ASOS linen dress in the back of the closet, a relic with its original tags still intact. When I first got it, the fit was off as it was too loose in the hips. But now that I have childrearing hips, the dress fits much better.
Mom bod for the win.
