Sharing my recent weekend in Newport Beach including the five places you must visit!
The City of Newport Beach invited me to enjoy a weekend in their luxe beachside city and to attend the Newport Beach Film Festival, a month-long soiree celebrating a spectrum of talented artists and films. It was too irresistible to resist especially since a weekend getaway meant getting away from my standard 7am wake up call from my oh so trusty alarm clock baby. After an intimate immersion in all things Newport Beach guided by the city's ultimate insiders, I feel like I have enough cred to share a top five list with you. Here are my suggestions for the best spots to visit next time you find yourself in one of California's most beautiful beach cities.
{Breakfast at Babette's}
Offering a selection of market fresh dishes like Tuscan Quinoa Bowl and the most addicting french fries, the vibe is bistro chic meets coastal Hamptons.
{Morning Pedego bike ride through Corona Del Mar}
What's better than biking through one of the most picturesque coastal towns? Biking without breaking a sweat.
{Stop for a Frozen Banana on Balboa Island}
It's an iconic and delicious excuse to stroll through Balboa Island's main street which is filled with small boutiques and restaurants.
{Duffy Boat Ride}
The relaxing ride around the harbor was a great way to drool over all the beautiful estates and learn a bit more about the city's history. Did you know both John Wayne and Shirley Temple were long time residents?
{Dinner at Lido Bottle Works}
Sip on a glass of rose or kombucha on tap and enjoy local favs like burrata and beets and the freshest market salad whilst enjoying harbor views.
