Beauty + Style | Lady and the Vamp

This holiday season, I kind of want to be naughty and nice all at once. And there's no better way to channel both vibes than with makeup! Using my favorite Target beauty products, I'm creating two beauty looks, classic versatility and modern vampy, for all the holiday fun!

{Classic Versatility}

When I think of a classic makeup look that works for all holiday occasions, warm color palettes like rich taupes, browns, and plums come to mind as those colors work best on my skin tone and help bring out a warm glow perfect for the winter season.

To create the look, I used a slew of Target holiday makeup gift sets like my e.l.f. eye shadow palette, Sonia Kashuk brush set, and NYX California eye shadow palette. I love having an assortment of color choices when it comes to eye makeup, which is why these gift sets are absolutely perfect without breaking the bank as each palette provides dozens of color options to play with. I kept the warm colors inside my crease line and added some liquid eyeliner to frame the eyes. To play up the warm glow, I apply a light layer of NYX illuminator/highlight and my Sonia Kashuk translucent powder. A quick swipe of rosy matte lipstick on my lips completes this look.

{Modern Vamp}

I don't think I've ever seen a makeup look trend as hard as the vampy look! Pillared by high-contrast contouring, bold lips, and fierce brows, the look is all about highlighting features for a striking and memorable holiday look.

To bring out my inner vamp, I wiped off most of my eyeshadow to draw focus to the dramatic cat eyes, achieved by applying a few layers of the e.l.f. cream eyeliner. For chiseled cheekbones, I used my fingers (for extra precision) to apply my NYX illuminating bronzer on the sides of my face. And to finish the vampy look, I switched out rosy matte for vixen oxblood lipstick instantly making my lips the statement piece of the look!
