Traditionally, I've always found it difficult to relax when I'm traveling as my mind is a running to do list jumping from one thing to another making sure I'm experiencing and doing as much as possible. Gotta soak it all in! But on my recent trip to Palm Springs where our hotel was the destination, I chilled out.
Nothing quite captures the laidback chill of LA vibes quite like a weekend escape to our neighboring desert. Our day's agenda consisted of soaking in the sun, gazing up into palm trees, and alternating between naps and daydreams. I felt like I was living an episode of Stewarts and Hamiltons, a new E! Entertainment Television reality shows that follows the lives of a blended Hollywood family seeped in quirky and relaxed LA culture. I'm sure when they travel, they let loose and let go. After all, most of life's most fabulous and entertaining moments are completely unplanned and unscripted.
While relaxing and hanging out at the hotel's beautiful courtyard, I wore a floral maxi dress. I love the relaxed flow of the dress and the resort feel of the floral print. It was yet another reminder that at that moment, doing nothing was absolutely everything.
