In the past two days alone I've met some amazing people and experienced moments of beauty and joy. I wish I'd taken this trip sooner! The first stop on my road trip was Santa Barbara where I visited both the Bethel House Women's Residential Treatment Center and its parent organization, The Santa Barbara Rescue Mission (more on my visit in tomorrow's post). In sunny SB, I wore my ModCloth aqua maxi dress layered with a Rachel Zoe trench coat as beachy weather always translates into breezy weather. My Sole Society sandals completes my first road trip outfit.Maxis are always a big summer hit and I was particularly drawn to this one because its fresh and clean aqua color and the fabulous mirrored print reminds me of the pretty aqua packaging of the Caress® Aqua Sparkle™ Fresh Collection Body Wash. Maxi dresses are perfect road trip attire as they're comfy enough to wear in the car yet easy to dress up or down on any road trip stops. I loved this outfit so much I ended up wearing it again the next day!
This is Stephanie. She works at the Bethel House, was a part of and completed the recovery program in 2010, and took these amazing photos for me! She radiates a sense of genuine positivity and I wish her nothing but continued success and joy!
