Although Halloween isn't until Thursday, it feels like I've been celebrating my fourth favorite holiday since the middle of October! I'm not complaining as any excuse to eat copious amounts of candy is a reason to celebrate. So far, I've ate trees of Red Vines, more Butterfingers than I can count with my fingers, and galaxies of Milky Ways. And that's just my pre-Halloween loot.
Aside from the candy utopia and costume shenanigans, the colors orange and black are also taking center stage as a nod to Halloween, a reflection of the the changing foliage, and as a celebration of the rustic unfolding of fall. So, this week I'm pairing three orange and black outfits that are appropriate for every Halloween moment.
First up is my daytime office look. As a lawyer, I can't get away with wearing my Miley costume to work as teddy bear playsuits are specifically listed as "prohibited attire" in the employee handbook so I have to find more subtle ways to celebrate the holiday in style. For a day in the office, I'm wearing my Lulus.com orange wrap dress as a top paired with a floral embroidered pencil skirt. A statement necklace, Hanes Silk Reflections Tights, and low key suede ankle boots keep the look professional, chic, and Halloween happy.
