I wore this fringed flapper-esque patriotically striped Ivana Helsinki dress to the HaulerDeals launch party at Drais over Memorial Day weekend and got the chance to learn a bit more about the website, hang out with friends and meet some cool vloggers.
HaulerDeals is a shopping website with a fun social media twist. Similar to sample sale sites like Gilt and Hautelook, the site offers discounted goods from your favorite fashion and beauty brands for a limited period of time. The twist comes in the form of Haulers-fashion and beauty gurus that use the site as a forum to share and discuss their favorite finds featured on the site.
I spend the better part of the night hanging out at the VIP lounge not out of snootiness but out of sheer gluttony as I wanted easy access to the platters of delicious bite-sized brownies and candy sundaes. I chatted with vloggers like Jarmine and Holly Ann-AeRee and got an insider's peek into the their video blogging world. Both of them are pursuing their passion full-time and seem to thoroughly enjoy what they're doing.
I walked away from the night with a renewed sense of energy and love for blogging and a gift bag that included a gift certificate for a pair of JustFab shoes. Just another fabulous night in my fabulous city!
