The Best of the Best-Fashion's Night Out "FNO" Los Angeles

This Thursday, Fashion's Night Out will signal my kick off to fall fashion festivities as I will be jetting off to New York for Spring 2012 NYFW Friday night! It will be nice to have a night to unwind, shop, wine, dine, play and catch up with friends before I leave for what will undoubtedly be a few days of fashion madness.

With FNO getting bigger and brighter every year, some of you may feel overwhelmed by the cornucopious of events taking place around town. So, below is my handpicked list of the most visit-worthy FNO events to help you maximize your fashionable night out on the town.

FNO 2011 Rodeo Drive:
The evening's festivities will include 95 in-store events, a giant Ferris Wheel, numerous cocktail parties, celebrity appearances, extended shopping hours, flamethrowers, stilt walkers, fifteen of Los Angeles' top gourmet food trucks and Cirque du Soleil's Flipbook Experience on Rodeo Drive where visitors have the opportunity to insert themselves into the spectacular new IRIS show from Cirque du Soleil at the Kodak Theatre.

FNO 2011 Neiman Marcus Beverly Hills:
Exclusive Beverly Hills premiere of Loewe handbags, with Creative Director Stuart Vevers personal appearance, artisan engraving, and welcome reception.
Costume Designer’s Guild panel of experts discuss Hollywood’s influence on fashion.
Roderick Tung personal appearance introducing his latest collection of men’s dress shirts.
Viewing of Verdura “Hollywood Years” Precious Jewels Collection.

7:30pm Fashion Show hosted by LL COOL J, Center Court, with special appearance by Mayor Villaraigosa

FNO 2011 Beverly Center:
5:30pm-Luxury Fashion Show on the Beverly Center runway with the hottest fall looks from our newest stores, hosted by Nicole Richie. The front row will be filled with celebrities, stylists, press, bloggers, top clients and more. This year marks Beverly Center’s second year as the main hub of FNO LA.
8pm-Experience the high energy, edgy and modern Contemporary and Juniors Fashion Show featuring looks from L.A.’s top brands along with Bloomingdale’s and Macy’s.
Many of the stores are offering discounts and complimentary drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and sweets.


FNO 2011 AnQi and Bloomingdale's South Coast Plaza Fashion Show:

A fashion show highlighting fall’s latest fashions straight from the fall Bloomingdale's catalogue.  Male models will be members of the Costa Mesa Fire Department who will strut the season’s new designs on AnQi’s 66 foot glass runway which transverses the dramatic dining room. The fashion show is a commemoration of the tenth anniversary of 9/11 and a salute to the heroism of firefighters everywhere. AnQi will donate 30% of the evening's proceeds to the Costa Mesa Firefighters Widows and Orphans Fund. Bloomingdale’s has created an exclusive 9/11 commemorative t-shirt that will be available for purchase at the event.
